Simulate the look of stained glass using colored film and a leaded design.
Materials:

Decra Led
Decra Led colored film
2 pieces of glass or Plexiglas (9" x 29 ")
8, 10, 28 and 30" stretcher bars (from art supply or craft store) (4 of each size)
tracing paper
paint
primer
small hinges
decorative upholstery tacks
tack hammer
rice paper
water spray bottle
squeegee
double-sided tape

Steps:

1. Drill several small holes in the glass to attach it to the wood panels.

2. Assemble stretcher bars to create two 8" x 28" panels and two 10" x 30" panels . Glue corners and let dry.

3. Prime and paint panels. Once dry, tape rice paper to the backside of the smaller outer frames and add decorative tacks. Hinge the four frames together.

4. Draw floral design on tracing paper cut to glass size. Place the glass on top and use the pattern as a guide to apply Decra Led. Cut it as needed and press each piece in place.

5. Turn glass over and apply colored film over the leaded portions according to the directions.

6. Apply Decra Led as above over raw edges of film.

7. Carefully tack glass panels to the larger wood panels.
