10" Gothic wood triptych
acrylic paint (rose, pink, ivory)
pressed flowers - 20-piece assortment
two 4" crochet doilies
six 2" wide crochet appliquXs
Krylon Make it Suede spray paint
tweezers
surface sealer
natural sea sponge
gold leafing pen
28" of 1/2"-wide braid
76" of 1/4"-wide braid
buttons in various sizes
1" sponge brush
tacky craft glue
#4 flat brush
Steps for side #1:
- Basecoat the rose, using sponge brush. Dip moistened sea sponge in pink, then ivory and streak over rose to create soft background.
- Glue 1/4-inch braid around all inside edges.
- Glue 4-inch doily in center of large panel. Add a few distinctive buttons on and near the doily.
- Glue two-inch crochet applique in center of each side panel.
- Glue arrangement of pressed flowers over and around the doily and appliques.
- Seal with super surface sealer.
Steps for side #2:
- Spray an even coat of Make It Suede spray paint.
- Glue 1/2-inch braid around inside edge of large panel only.
- Glue 4-inch crochet doily in center of large panel. Glue two 2-inch-wide crochet appliques centered on each side panel.
- Glue buttons around inside edge of each side panel, and around the inside of the 1/2-inch braid on the large panel. Glue a few distinctive buttons on and around the doily on the large panel.
