Simulate raised panels in no time with paint.

Steps:

1. Determine desired raised panel design. Mark them lightly on door with a level and pencil. Tape around the lines, being sure to miter the corners (figure A).

2. Paint the bottom and one side in one color and the remaining two sides one shade darker to simulate shadows.

3. To help with the delineation on the mitered corner where the same color meets, use an artist's brush to make a line with the lighter shade (figure B).
