Materials:

roller/cover
paint for base coat (Ballroom Gold #DS04A)
glaze for top coat (Equestrian Gold #LE07)
whiskbroom
tape
ladder

Steps:

  1. Apply two coats of the chosen base coat color and let it cure for two days.
  2. Measure ceiling and divide it into four rows of four blocks (figure A). Mark each square with a directional arrow on the plan and the ceiling in order to put the glaze on in the right direction. Tape around four blocks at a time (figure A)--otherwise, the tape will interfere with the technique.
  3. Roll on the top coat glaze (figure B).
  4. While still wet, pull whisk broom through it in the proper direction (figure C).
  5. Wait for glaze to dry before moving on to the next group of four blocks.
