Embellished Candle Votive

Use pieces of a shower curtain to create a beautiful candleholder.

Materials:

translucent shower curtain
flower vase
double-sided adhesive
scissors

Steps:

1. Use the double-sided adhesive as a pattern and cut squares just a bit larger out of the shower curtain.
2. Remove one side of the release paper and slowly attach the rough side of shower curtain square to the adhesive. Slowly smooth bubbles or creases.
3. Cut small strips for the flared portions of the vase. Peel the release paper from the adhesive and place around the edge.
4. Peel the release paper from the larger squares and adhere to vase as desired . Cut squares, circles, triangles, etc. to embellish the design.
