decorative papers

bowl of water
tweezers
methal cellulose adhesive powder (archival adhesive )
copy rag paper (print paper)
scrap paper (for blotting)

rolling pin
Steps:
- Cut artwork from decorative papers and place pieces in water to relax them. Place copy rag paper cut to frame glass size into water, too.
- Pierce holes in the bottom of paper cup with straight pin to create a sifter.
- Remove artwork from water and place face down on blotter paper to drain.
- Pour methal cellulose into sifter and tap gently to sprinkle lightly over artwork .
- Remove copy rag paper from water. Use tweezers to pick up artwork and position on copy rag paper. Place smaller pieces around the edge as decorative accents.
- Spritz rolling pin with water. Press firmly and roll across print. If images stick to rolling pin, go in reverse to put them back in place.
- Place the artwork between two dry pieces of paper to create a sandwich. Put a flat board and several books on top to prevent curling and leave it overnight. Frame and display as desired.
