Steps:
- Apply two solid base coats of Aquabond Khaki. Allow to dry completely.
- Mix together three parts Aquaglaze to one part each of the three Aquavelvet colors (#1049, #1281 and #1232) into a separate container for each.
- Apply colors one at a time in a random crisscross motion with chip brushes (or the four-inch regular roller). Cover 80 percent of the surface with #l281, 10 percent more of the area with #l049 and 10 percent more with #1232, blending the colors wet into wet on a 4' x 4' section of the wall.
- While the glaze is still wet, remove some of it with the seven-inch loose bag roller until the colors are blended. Clean the plastic as needed when it gets full . Repeat until the entire desired surface is done and allow to dry completely (usually overnight).
- Put the floppy roller into the gold metallic paint and lightly off-load it on a scrap piece of paper for even distribution of material. Apply the gold in a random pattern allowing positive and negative spaces to happen (this color should cover 60 to 70 percent of the surface). Once done, allow to dry completely.
- Mix the Aquacreme with the Aquacolors using 40 percent black, 40 percent bronze and 20 percent French red to make the color.
- Apply this mixture in a vertical method covering 100 percent of the area. While still wet, remove some in selective areas with rags to establish various values in the final appearance.
