Figure A--This Louis XV marquetry inlaid commode is an excellent copy of an original because it features a type of marble to that matches the style of the original pieces. All the marquetry is in-laid by hand rather than with a decal-type treatment, and the drawers are lined with a beautiful floral design.

Figure B--The English secretary became popular in the early part of the 15th century because Louis XIV had this style of furniture installed inside the palace. This particular piece is covered with a Chinese design and matches the original piece.
