Tracing On Dark Colors

Carol Duvall Show : Episode CDS-135 -- More Projects »
A viewer sent in the following tip to Design Original's Suzanne McNeill:

To trace a pattern onto dark fabric, start by tracing the pattern with a black Sharpie onto a piece of white tulle. Then lay the tulle on the fabric, and go over it with white chalk or a white chalk pencil and the design will be transferred. The pattern on the tulle can also be reused.

Using this method, Suzanne produced some designs, including one of Santa Claus that was subsequently painted with liquid sequins.
