Changing the fabric on the chairs from a floral print to striped pattern brings out the wood tones and can be accomplished in a short period of time.
Materials:

fabric
staple gun
trim
screwdriver

Steps:

1. Remove the chair seat by unscrewing the four screws that hold it in place. Remove the fabric welting if necessary and save if desired.

2. Center the fabric on the seat (figure A) and staple all the way around, making sure to pull the fabric taut for the best fit.

3. To dress up the chair, staple or hot glue trim around the edges figure B).

4. Return the seat to its proper position and screw it in place.
