Slipcovers

Smart Design : Episode SDN-104 -- More Projects »
Slipcovers used to protect furniture from everyday use and when company arrived, they came off. However, slipcovers today are making a fashion statement all their own and have become one of the fastest, most affordable ways to change the look of a room.
  • In the days when slipcovers first came into vogue, they were strictly utilitarian. Now they are used because it's a lot cheaper to slipcover a sofa than to reupholster it.
  • There's no sacrificing style just to save money. Even a plush, custom-made velvet slipcover is affordable so consider a second style with the money saved to change your decor several times a year.
