Basic Slipcovers

Steps:

1. Sew a rectangular piece of fabric just shy of the cushion dimensions. Add a few strips of elastic to close it into a circle and slip them over the cushion.

Steps:

1. Press the hems in the edges of the fabric first by turning the edges over 1/2 inch, and then 1/2 inch again.

2. Open the hems up, fold the corner in at the furthest fold mark, and then refold the edges in to create a perfect mitered corner (figure A).
