Materials:

acrylic paints (Yellow, Bright Red, Apple Green, Gold)
textile medium
pillow
white sheeting

scrap paper
Steps:
1. Cut two 10-inch squares of sheeting and press half-inch hems on all sides. Set one piece aside.
2. Apply Bright Red paint mixed with textile medium to the pitcher stamp and stamp in the lower center of the fabric square. Reapply paint and stamp another pitcher image on scrap paper. Cut around the edges and remove the center area around the top three polka dots, leaving them connected to the pitcher (figure A).
3. Place the paper template over the stamped pitcher on the fabric. Apply Apple Green and Yellow paint mixed with textile medium to the flower and stem portion only of the Flower 'n Vase stamp. Stamp image over the paper template onto the fabric so that the stems are situated halfway in the pitcher and halfway out. Lift stamp and remove paper template. Let dry.
4. Place stamped square on top of plain square with wrong sides together. Place rickrack between the two squares along one side. Cut pieces of fusible webbing to fit on both sides of the rickrack and fuse layers with an iron as directed. Repeat on remaining sides.
5. Sew pieces of the soft side of hook and loop tape on the back corners of the square and the hook portion of the tape to the pillow. Stick the panel to the pillow .
6. Fold each corner of the pillow to the front a bit and secure each with a coordinating button.
7. For a quick pillow makeover, stamp a strip of fabric the circumference of the pillow by the desired width (press half-inch hems along the long edges first). Once dry, glue trims and sew buttons along the ends to form a wrap and slide it over the pillow (figure B).
