Steps:
- Scan a photograph and print the image onto an 8-1/2" x 11" piece of the printable fabric.
- Center the fabric on a background of solid colored flock velvet. Stitch the fabric to the velvet to secure.
- Create a fake frame by embellishing the outer edges of the printed photo with trim.
- Assemble the pillow cover using two rectangles of flocked velvet cut slightly larger than half the width of the pillow front.
- Hem the ends and overlap them to create an opening for inserting the pillow form.
- Place the pillow front and backs together with right sides facing, and stitch around the outside edges.
- Trim the seam allowances and turn the pillow cover right side out.
- Insert the pillow form. Add tassels or other decorative trim to complete the look, if desired.
