Figure A--A brush fringe is inserted into the seam. To make it brushy, unthread it, then fluff it up. If you shop for this fringe in the store, look for it to be compact. You will unthread it upon purchase.

Figure B--Remember the ball fringe from the 1970s? It's back, and it looks great and adds a little pizzazz to a throw pillow.

Figure C--Bouillon fringe is among the most popular trims, just don't cook with it. It comes in varying lengths and looks great on any accessory. Retail items featuring this trim can be costly, but you can do it yourself at a fraction of the cost.

Figure F

Figure D-Rayon multicolor is a versatile trim that comes in a wide range of colors. It has a lip, which goes into the seam and makes it easier to add another cord, which is featured in this image.

Figure E--Cording without the lip can be used to wrap an inexpensive lamp base. This simple step can turn an old, forgotten lamp into a "high-end" treasure.

Figure F--This towel sling is so simple. Hold a towel behind a towel rack, allow it to drop, then bring it back up in front and secure with a rubber band. Roll a towel of a coordinating color and drop it into the pocket. A tassle tie-back tied over the rubber band completes the look.
