Back Bay Brownstone
Soon after Meg Young began renovations on her kitchen, she realized that she might as well just gut the whole place. With the help of architects Rupinder Singh and Anne Sophie Divinyi, she worked to create a space that fits her perfectly—in both design and function. Counter Intelligence
The open kitchen connects to the living space, so everything is stored away in the ample cabinets. A taller counter divides the kitchen from the living space and houses two smaller tables that are set side by side to create a lower counter against the tall island. Visually this adds a more gradual change from one space to the next. It also functions as a comfortable eating area that is separate from the working kitchen space.
