Tin Can Studio
San Francisco is made up of distinct neighborhoods; Partero Hill is close to everything but isolated by highways and industrial buildings. There's not much new land to build on, so residents like Stan Musilek build up. He built his apartment on top of his photo studio, close to but totally separate from his work. A wall of windows fills the 900-square-foot apartment with light and makes the views the focal point of the space.
All About the View
The living room features a wall of glass overlooking the San Francisco skyline. Simple furniture and built-ins keep the space looking clean and uncluttered. For example, a door on the side of the fireplace conceals a stereo system.
