Vintage Meets Modern
Artist Alfonso Munoz decorated his 650-square-foot, one-bedroom apartment with eclectic antiques, sidewalk finds and homemade pieces. Munoz's taste ranges from 19th century French decor to '70s kitsch and everything in between. It takes a lot of imagination to mix them all in one small East Village apartment in New York. Every inch of the apartment has something to look at or to play with, and the bedroom doubles as a dining room.
Playful Art
In his exploration of play, Munoz has designed a series of sculptures and panels he displays in his living room. The wall panel is actually a large puzzle with detachable pieces that adhere with Velcro. The Picasso toy on the table has movable pieces that change facial expressions as they're moved around.
