The living room is also separated from the dining room by a retractable curtain. Heavy drapes can block out sound and create privacy for guests. Curtains are easy to install, affordable, washable and easy to swap out if you get tired of them. The shelving unit covering one wall of the living room contains a dry bar and storage on one side and a large-screen TV and stereo system on the other.
