Futuristic in Florida
Jeffrey Smith installs custom home theaters around the world. So, of course he has a personal cinema in his Miami homein less than 1,000 square feet. Hidden built-ins, high-tech gadgets and clever, double-duty furniture provide both basics and luxuries. Smith's sky loft is a space-age dream, filled with futuristic surprises that can be controlled with the touch of a button.
Unconventional Sofa Sleeper
Vintage pieces and fabric patterns give the living room a kitschy-chic style: think '60s Jetsons meet funky Miami contemporary. The L-shaped sofa was designed and built for the space. The seat cushions are actually mattresses that are 36 inches deep and can be used as a guest bed.
