Before: This new laundry room is just large enough for one person to use and is a blank slate. It has a sink, washer and dryer lined up along one wall and is ready for some color and finishing touches.

After: A soft wall color, framed faux window and functional pieces like lined laundry baskets, a shelf above the sink and lots of hooks on one wall make this a comfortable place to do a not-so-fun chore.

Before: This laundry room is already off to a nice start with beautiful woodwork and a rich wall covering above. Since it's the family's entry off the garage, it ends up being a catchall space and they need help corralling shoes, mail, keys, change, etc.

After: Artwork, hooks, functional sink items and a new hall tree near the door make the beautiful room even more welcoming and functional for the people who use the machines and those that just walk right by them!

Hosts Matt Fox and Shari Hiller take on the task of making over two very diverse laundry rooms. Hiller uses her decorating prowess in a small, plain white laundry room while Fox hones his storage and organizational abilities in a very dark and moody laundry.
