Host Kitty Bartholomew visits the home of designer Cory Lovick, who worked within a budget to transform her small space. Building on a foundation of dark wood floors and white walls, she created a cozy haven with timeless appeal.

White paint covers the original tongue and groove paneling on the walls. The old brick around the fireplace was covered up with new tile.

A large-scale mirror helps to enlarge the small living room. The frame is painted the same color as the floor for continuity.

Wicker chairs are paired with more traditional chairs for an eclectic look in the dining room. Lovick found the two end chairs at a garage sale and left the original orange velvet intact to add color.

In the master bedroom, a sisal rug is angled to add movement to the space.
