Unneutralize the Neutral
While bold and beautiful color is enjoying great popularity these days, there’s always a large audience in favor of neutrals for their design decor. Neutrals are undeniably soothing, serene, and sophisticated. In a dizzying world of over-stimulation, neutrals are often the shelter from the storm. They’re also a common destination for the novice who has set out on his or her first interior-decorating journey. Yet, to avoid looking bland, flat or otherwise uninteresting, neutrals require a design imperative for their survival: texture.
