Design coordinator Ali Azhar created a new console out of the bottom half of the armoire. The top half houses the television in another area of the room. Since the bottom half didn't have a top, Azhar takes advantage of some remnant glass and spray paint to create a mosaic top for the console. He simply spray paints the glass panel and then breaks it to create tiles. Using the glass just like regular tiles, he lays out his pattern and grouts it all into place. To save time and expense on a mosaic project, consider using materials you already have on hand; broken mirror, glass or dishes can become a piece of art.
