The Solution
Designer Frank Fontana designs the room with an upscale tropical style that is reminiscent of a resort lobby. The walls are painted with a warm chocolate brown contrasted with a vibrant lime green ban along the top and bottom of the wall. Fontana edges the upper line of color with a stained pine moulding for a finished touch. The new layout is inviting, creating a flow into the seating area centered around the fireplace. The basement also has a separate play space and office area with lots of storage.
