Fire and Water
Previous: BBQ Re-do
Using the same river rock that Balzter uses on the BBQ, designer Lee Snijders covers the unsightly dirt mound. The rocks also provide a layer to keep moisture in the soil around the plants and keep the dirt from spreading all over the patio. Snijders adds a pond for a water feature and "floats" a fire pit in it for an unusual effect. A bubbling pump makes it look like the water is boiling below the fire pit.
