Kim and Christina choose vibrant burnt orange for the upper walls to give the room a jazzy bar ambience. Brown textured wallpaper is applied to the lower walls below the wainscoting. To warm up the room even further, the wainscoting and ceilings are painted tan. The fireplace mantle is removed and replaced with custom-built shelves painted creamy white, and the TV is placed above the fireplace. Black accessories contrast with the white shelves and throw pillows soften the leather sofas. The new jazzy color scheme ties the two halves of the room together and creates a warm, inspiring space.
