Azhar moves the two bookcases away from the bed area to the office area and replaces the desk with a custom-made, walnut-plywood desktop positioned between the bookcases. He uses aluminum rail to cover the rough edges of the plywood and add a decorative accent. The clutter on the bookcases is now concealed behind color-coordinated curtains. The cleaned-up look and modern lines of the desk give the office area a more contemporary style.
