Recent graduates and newlyweds Jon and Sara Clipson moved into their new home a month ago. They haven't had much money to work on the house, leaving their basement bland and almost empty. Student designer Ashley Coey is called in to add some pizzazz to this blank canvas. Drawing inspiration from two retro barstools the Clipsons own, Coey puts her own contemporary twist on a 1950s-inspired design, which includes a new couch, vintage lighting, a custom credenza, floating shelves and a floating acrylic bar.
Before: Blank Canvas
The white walls and beige carpeting are a blank canvas for Coey to decorate. The rest of the Clipsons' house is decorated in a vintage style, predominantly in red and black, so this space needs to catch up.For all available product information, click on the After photo(s) of the room.
