At the point, you'll be marveling at how beautiful your wood panels are, and you'll be anxious to put them on the wall. But first, buff each panel with an extra-fine grade of steel wood (grade "000" or higher) to smooth out any uneven sections. If it looks like the finish is uniform throughout, you can skip this step.


1. Create a Diagram

2. Trim the Wood

3. Number Each Panel

4. Wipe Off Dust

5. Apply Wood Conditioner


6. Apply Two Coats of Stain

7. Polish with Steel Wool

8. Apply Tape

9. Stick the Wood to the Wall

10. Install One Row at a Time
