Host Brat Shadlow guides us through the second part of a 1930s Colonial clapboard restoration. New cedar siding matching the original is installed, while inside new curved windows are trimmed to fit. Custom-made poplar trim matching the original is also installed, and the finishing touches are put on the new master bath.

Finally, Shadlow meets the energy expert who is completing final comprehensive energy checks to ensure that the new renovation work is energy efficient. At the front door of the house a final test measures air pressure and leakage rates. With the energy checks complete and the new siding freshly painted, this renovation is complete.
