Before: Unworkable Workspace Freelance graphic designer Sue Shea works from home, but her home isn't working for her. While she feels that it's the apartment of her dreams — a one-bedroom, urban high-rise with room to live and work under one roof — she is finding it hard to keep her workspace (pictured, right) organized and clutter-free. She would love a new, efficient home office with an artistic flair that could also serve as a guest room.
With the help of host Joan Steffend, carpenter Jeff Meyer and less than $500, designer Susie Burke turns a cluttered home office into a colorful, artistic, well-organized space that doubles as a guest bedroom.
