Before: This plain upstairs loft only has a TV and a couch in it. The newlyweds who live here are ready to liven it up so it reflects their mutual passion for football, but they have no idea how to do that.
After: Gold walls and black furniture with accents of orange and green throughout tie the couple's school colors together beautifully. The loft is sophisticated, fun and functional all at the same time with the new lighting, furniture and built-ins.
Before: These avid football fans want to design the room around their newest purchase, a 57-inch TV, and to try to incorporate clashing school colors (green, orange, gold and black) from their two colleges.
After: A formidable entertainment center houses the television along with a mini fridge. The floating bar with stools opens the entire room up for entertaining on game days.
Before: The large window lets in nice light, but it needs to be controlled when the couple is watching daytime games.
After: Beautiful panels incorporate the school colors in such a sophisticated way and allow for light control at the same time.
First-time homeowners John and Tammie Goodballet are in love with their upstairs loft, which they use as their living room and is in dire need of a facelift. Being avid football fans, their only requirements are that their new 57-inch TV stays and that both their college football teams are represented in the design. Who better to put their ideas into play than interior design student Kelly Doucette?
