Country style is bumped up a notch with classy, clean-lined furnishings. The homeowners’ sofa is paired with a contemporary red leather chair and dark wood tables. Two more arm chairs are placed on the other side of the room for additional seating. A pair of end tables are pushed together to make a coffee table. This gives the room more flexibility and the big baskets on the bottom shelf provide extra storage. Storage is important, especially with small kids, so an open shelving unit is placed in the corner to hold toys and books.
