The white worn sofa and chair are replaced with sturdy, slipcovered furnishings. Slipcovers go very well with the cozy cottage style and are also very sensible. The double shelf coffee table adds more storage and it not being an antique makes it more practical and less worrisome. A pair of storage ottomans placed underneath the window provides additional seating and a place to stash toys. Simple Roman shades, new end tables and a set of lamps completes the relaxed space.
