Chris Martin was a 26-year-old limo driver when he got extremely lucky. A couple he was driving offered to pay for his entire college education! The only thing the couple asked for in return is to remain anonymous and that one day, Martin would help someone else in need. So Chris decided to "pay it forward" and nominate the Thrutchley family for a Deserving Design makeover. Jeff and Beth Thrutchley are co-founders of Camp Horizon, a camp designed to help restore dignity and hope into the lives of abused and neglected children. Chris is a volunteer at the camp and was completely moved and affected by what Jeff and Beth have done for their community. So, designer Vern Yip is going to give the Thrutchleys a brand new living/dining room and as a surprise, he'll redesign their master bedroom.
