After: Fleshed Out
The Solution
Designer Kristan Cunningham unifies the two rooms with a continuous wall color. Visually the spaces flow into each other, while they still have their separate functions. A sectional couch fills the living room with plenty of seating. The pair of ottomans offers additional seating that can easily be moved to accommodate the flow of a party. The front room is now the dining area Whitton was hoping for.
