Bachelor Wes Whitton has an eclectic style but no idea how to showcase it in his living room and dining room areas. He has asked designer Kristan Cunningham to develop a plan to pull these rooms together. The Design on a Dime team takes these rooms from clumsy mismatch to stylishly cohesive all for less than $1,000.

Before: Bare Bones
The Dilemma
The two-room layout offers lots of space. However, Whitton notices at the parties he throws that the arrangement can be rather awkward; everyone just stands around. His old hand-me-down furniture just isn't cutting it. Although he's not looking for anything formal, he would like to have a dining area somewhere in the space.
