A modern and mature bedroom is created using neutral tones with a touch of color, clean lines, rich wood tones and sophisticated elements. The main part of the room is painted warm gray and the alcove/office area is painted soft lavender. Luxurious bedding ties the colors together in a sophisticated manner. By reorienting the bed, a better sense of space and flow is created. The handmade, wooden headboard adds rich tones that help give the room an urbane look. The headboard was crafted by cutting strips of wood in various sizes then randomly fastening them onto a sheet of plywood.
