Valance Balance

Valances are a great way to create a frame for curtains and hide the hardware required to hang them. Going wall to wall creates a 20-foot panel that visually integrates the glass doors into the long wall. The wood valance is painted a deep chocolate brown to tie in with the room's color scheme. The new valance also mirrors the wood panel that runs the length of the room across from it. A subtle visual balance is achieved in the space with this detail.
