The Solution
With the help of design coordinators Dave Sheinkopf and Spencer Anderson, interior designer Kristan Cunningham designs a room that functions as a living room, office, and music space. Since the space is rather small, her plan must utilize every corner. The sofa is moved to a more user-friendly spot, across from the fireplace, freeing up a corner for Camaren's office. Moving the furniture away from the walls is a good way to create separation of space and more intimate areas. Behind the sofa is a hidden console with plenty of storage for all their DVDs. The discordant yellow and red walls are painted a soothing light blue and soft brown for subtle sophistication, with white trim for an airy, open cottage feel. The Cost TV stand – $70
