When he enters the living room, Bromstad immediately notices that the sofa is against the window, blocking the view, and is not facing the fireplace. There are no window coverings, and hence no privacy. The couple's leather sofa has the traditional style and the clean, sleek lines that they like, but it's the wrong color.
