To give the dining room a more dramatic flair, Sheinkopf adds a second higher chair rail and oval wooden appliques to the wall between the two railings. The bottom portion of the wall is painted black, while the top portion is red, and the middle band is white — representing the entire color scheme. Simple black shelves display white candlesticks for a formal touch.
