The Dilemma
This family room addition was built on to the Howes' house seven years ago and has become fun central. Although the addition is an extension of their home, it doesn't match the Americana decor of the rest of the house. The entertainment center was custom built for the corner, but it gives the room a lopsided feel. The walls are white and bare except for three exceptional photos. The concrete floors with sharp lines and polished finish add a lot of character, but the rug needs to be replaced.
