'70s Tavern Style
With wood everywhere, a huge brick fireplace, and a dark corner bar, this room feels more like a tavern than a family room. The dark wood floor, the amber pine wainscoting, the wood mantle and the wood bar are mismatched and overbearing. In stark contrast to the dark woods, the walls are white and stippled. The oversized sofas add to the outdated look of the room.
