Next to the fireplace in the inspiration room is a 36-drawer silver filing cabinet that cost over $300. By going to a recycling center the Double Take team was able to re-create the look at a cost of only $40.

Tip: A recycling yard can be a great resource for treasures. It is a cross between a thrift store and a junk yard. You can usually find windows, doors, furniture and little trinkets. You never know what you’re going to find, so go with an open mind.
