Rayce Newman is a bachelor who loves to entertain. Unfortunately, his living room (pictured, right) doesn't match his personality. He has found a photo of a French Provincial sitting room that has a casual elegant look to match his personality. The problem is the price tag doesn't match his budget–it's more than $35,000.

This high-end room captures the warm rustic, Old World feel of the French countryside. Designer Jona Collins used three main design elements to create this setting–a beautiful color scheme, lots of layered textures and exquisite antiques. With its southern French flavor, this room has a casual, yet elegant feel that is very comforting and inviting.

The Double Take team–makeover designer Michele Addey, budget shopper Halili Knox and carpenter Jamie Schmitt–combine their ingenuity to replicate this tranquil setting for less than $3,000.
