Homeowners Matt and Patricia Stamos are thankful for all the furniture they received from Patricia's parents, but there's too much crammed into their living room and they'd like a younger style. Host Karen McAloon helps them remix the room by breaking up the sectional sofa, repainting the walls and old art, and turning a coffee table into a comfortable ottoman. Together they redo the space in a contemporary, young design.

The couple was given a nice sectional sofa, but it's too crowded in the space with all the other furniture. They particularly don't like the large painting of two cranes, the '70s-style coffee table and the china cabinet.
