Before: Angela Clark is a software saleswoman with a side business making high-fashion evening purses. Her living room was an attempt at a high-end spa/hotel-inspired feeling but its almost complete lack of color isn't warm enough nor is it speaking to her creative side so she's ready to get color!

After: Chocolate walls along with a light blue and gray square detail on the accent wall set the tone for the sophisticated and warm living room Clark was after all along. Some new seating makes better use of the space and the pretty wall sconces help all the colors look their best.
Angela Clark is a strong, independent businesswoman working for a large corporation in software sales. Her current decor of white walls and cream-colored furniture doesn't give the relaxing or sophisticated feeling she needs after a long work day so she'd like to turn her high-rise condo living room into her very own grand hotel-inspired spa. Host Jane Lockhart injects some bold browns, soothing blues and a dash of fuchsia to create the elegant and sophisticated feeling of a relaxing hotel spa. After a busy day at the office, this chic new room in bold and fresh colors will give Clark something to look forward to.

Jane's design tip: Dark colors don't make a room feel smaller, they create the perfect backdrop for light accessories.
