Before: This small den just has a computer desk and a loveseat so the homeowners need it to work more effectively for their growing family. Plus, the wall color could stand to be more exciting to bring out the beautiful woodwork.

After: Updated upholstery on the loveseat and a toy-filled chest behind it change the orientation of the space, while the warmer, linen-like walls and blue window treatments highlight the architecture very nicely.

Before: The homeowners like the lines of this loveseat, but the floral pattern is very outdated and needs to be changed to incorporate it into the new design for this room.

After: Moving the desk to this wall allows the fresh new fabric on the loveseat to be highlighted. A large memo board makes the office area more efficient and is perfect for notes, project ideas, invitations and favorite photos.

Hosts Matt Fox and Shari Hiller transform a common, everyday home office into a place for the whole family and homeowner Terri Lindberg has plenty of ideas to make the space more of a destination in her home. Fox and Hiller work on the backgrounds, furniture and add fun accessories for a design that is defiantly more play than work.
